Swingin’ Too Low
is Chuck A Beat’s blues-rock comedy anthem — a cheeky roast of male pride, gravity, and one unforgettable wardrobe malfunction.
The True Story Behind "Swingin’ Too Low"
This song was inspired by one of those “you couldn’t make this up” moments. My ex-boyfriend — twelve years older, always strutting around the house in nothing but jocks — decided to throw on a dressing gown when friends dropped by. He sat down to light a cigarette, leaned forward... and let’s just say gravity took centre stage. One nugget made a break for freedom, and I nearly passed out laughing.
That was it — the story had to be immortalized in song. “Swingin’ Too Low” became my unapologetic roast of male ego, ageing elasticity, and the dangerous confidence of dressing gowns.
The Intent
This isn’t just about one man’s wardrobe fail — it’s a universal wink at human ridiculousness. I wanted to turn an awkward, hilarious moment into something every listener could laugh at. Because let’s face it — when life (or gravity) drops you low, you can either cry... or turn it into a bluesy anthem.
The Music & Message
“Swingin’ Too Low” walks that perfect line between rock and laughter. It’s got swagger, slide-guitar sass, and a smoky barroom groove that makes you smirk and sway. The lyrics blend tongue-in-cheek storytelling with vivid imagery and just enough self-deprecating charm to make it timelessly funny.
It’s a Chuck A Beat signature — bold, raw, and absolutely unfiltered.

Swingin’ Too Low by Chuck A Beat Lyrics
[Verse 1]
I was hangin’ way too low,
While playin’ with my balls real slow.
Thought I’d write a serious song,
But my left one knocked the mic all wrong.
Got tangled up in my dressing gown,
Tripped on my ego, and fell face down.
[Chorus]
Swingin’ too low, got no shame,
Gravity’s playin’ a dirty game.
Used to walk proud, now I kinda limp,
Look like a cowboy with a busted blimp.
Oh Lord, I’m draggin’ through the show,
Guess it’s true — I’m swingin’ too low.
[Verse 2]
Went to the doc, said “What’s the deal?”
He said, “Congrats — you're now the real third wheel!”
Tried a sling, some tape, even ducted 'em high,
But one peeked out and winked at a passerby.
The nurse just blushed and shook her head,
"Put that thing away or I’ll call the Feds!"
[Bridge]
Now listen here boys —
There’s pride, there’s power… and then there’s just pain.
When your nuggets hit your knees, you ain't winnin' the game.
I don’t need a will, don’t need a prayer,
Just need a hammock... for my downstairs pair.
[Final Chorus]
Swingin’ too low, I ain’t lyin’
Every step I take feels like I’m dyin’
Used to be tight — now it’s all flow
My boys took a holiday way down below
So if you see me waddlin’ nice and slow...
Just salute, man — I’m swingin’ too low.
[Outro]
Chuck A Beat can roast a bloke,
When his nuts have had a stroke.
No shame, no filter, just full swing,
Even gravity can’t clip these wings!
So if you’re limpin’ through life, real slow…
Welcome to the club — we swing low!
