“Hashtag Madness” was written out of pure frustration one night after spending far too much time watching how social media works. Every day I see millions of people happily watching AI babies, AI gorillas, talking animals, and all sorts of random viral clips. They'll watch the whole thing, hit like, share it with friends, and replay it multiple times without a second thought. Yet the moment a music video appears featuring a singing avatar, many people instantly dismiss the song itself and label the entire thing as AI without even listening to the lyrics. The double standard drove me nuts. People judge the visuals before they judge the music. They analyse the image, not the song. “Hashtag Madness” became my way of roasting that entire mindset and reminding people that music should be judged by what they hear, not by what happens to be on the screen.
