"Framed" was inspired by a true story involving my nephew and one of the most difficult periods of his life. He was with his partner for 15 years then got married 12 years into their relationship and had two children after they got married, he discovered that his wife was having an affair with someone they both knew through a mutual friend. What followed was a series of events that would ultimately inspire the song.
The turning point came when my nephew left Melbourne to drive to Queensland to visit his dying stepfather, the only real father figure he had ever known. Once he was halfway through the journey, his wife began repeatedly calling and messaging him. Over the course of the day she contacted him more than 130 times, provoking arguments and telling him that by the time he returned home she would be gone and he would never see his children again.
Emotionally exhausted and struggling to cope with everything happening around him, he stopped at a motel for the night. After drinking heavily, he sent a threatening text message. He later pleaded guilty to sending the message and served sixty days in prison. While he accepted responsibility for his actions, I could also see a much bigger picture. Life is rarely as simple as people make it out to be, and relationships often involve far more complexity than outsiders ever see. But this story does not end there...oh hell no...this bitch and her new boyfriend tried to frame him the first weekend he was released but my nephew was on CCTV somewhere else so the cops knew that they were lying...then two months later the bitch and her boyfriend done something much, much worse in early 2026 but due to legal reasons can't talk about these other things until they are convicted though out of frustration I wrote three songs about that situation too but won't be able to release them until the legal process is complete.
I wrote "Framed" because I wanted him to know that someone understood his side of the story. The song isn't about excusing mistakes. It's about recognising that situations are not always black and white and that sometimes people are pushed to breaking point by circumstances most people never witness.
The Story Behind "Framed"
At its heart, "Framed" is a cinematic hip-hop story about betrayal, heartbreak, resilience, and survival. The lyrics follow a man whose world collapses around him as his marriage falls apart, accusations fly, and his life spirals into a battle to reclaim his identity.
Although inspired by real events, the song speaks to anyone who has ever felt judged, misunderstood, or pushed beyond their limits. It explores the emotional cost of betrayal while ultimately delivering a message of perseverance and strength. Rather than focusing on defeat, the song focuses on the determination to keep standing after life knocks you down.
Finding the Right Voice
One of the biggest challenges with "Framed" was finding a singer who could genuinely connect with the emotion behind the lyrics. The song required more than technical ability. It needed someone who could feel the pain, frustration, anger, vulnerability, and eventual triumph woven throughout the story.
After months of searching, I decided to hire an international session vocalist through an online recording service. His performance immediately stood out because he understood the emotional weight of the lyrics and delivered them exactly as the song required. Because he preferred to remain anonymous, we agreed to release the track using a stage name.
His vocal performance helped transform "Framed" from a personal story into a cinematic experience that listeners can feel from beginning to end.
The Music and Vibe
Built around a cinematic hip-hop foundation, "Framed" combines dramatic storytelling, atmospheric production, and emotionally charged vocals to create a track that feels more like a movie than a traditional song. The verses unfold like scenes from a film, drawing listeners deeper into the story with every line.
The production balances tension and emotion while allowing the lyrics to remain front and centre. The result is a powerful narrative-driven song that explores betrayal, accountability, resilience, and ultimately redemption. At its core, "Framed" is about refusing to let your worst moments define who you are.
Framed by Chuck A Beat Lyrics
Intro
You thought you had me? Think again.
Door’s locked, bridge burned, now watch me reign.
You’re nothing but smoke from a burned-out flame.
Verse 1
Twelve years deep, thought love was locked tight,
Built a whole damn life, tried to do right.
Had a little girl, she lit up my world,
Turned my shaky ground solid the moment she twirled.
Then came my son, blessing number two,
While I planned futures… she was planning something new.
Cheated with my mate, stabbed me dead in the back,
Didn’t just break love, nah, she launched a whole attack.
Pre-Chorus
Framed once… framed twice… how many times she gon’ fake this fight?
But I kept standin’, breathin’, bleedin’,
Truth beats lies when the lies start breedin’.
Verse 2
She couldn’t just leave, nah, she had to destroy,
Turned “I love you” into weapons she deploys.
Screamed “abuse!”, lies sharper than knives,
Tryna carve the father out my kids’ lives.
Judge dropped sixty days on a man who never hit,
All ’cause her word weighed more than legit.
Locked me up for something that never took place,
While she walked out smiling like she won the race.
Chorus
Framed…
By the girl I loved, by the things she claimed.
Framed…
But I rose every time while my soul stayed sane.
Framed…
They can break your heart but they can't break your name.
Framed…
You can lock my body, but you’ll never cage my flame.
Verse 3
Walked out stronger, but she still wasn’t done,
Tryna start round two now the sixty days are gone.
Her and new boy talk big, threaten my fam,
But a weak man barks, a real man stands.
I ain’t chasin’ drama, ain’t takin’ her hand,
Just want a clean slate, papers signed, divorce in my plan.
Girls broke my heart, now I’m flippin’ the script,
Said, “I’m done with little girls, I want a woman that’s equipped.”
Bridge
Truth ain’t scared of the lies you spin,
Time drags shadows into light again.
One day I’ll love right, with someone grown,
Not a child in disguise throwin’ stones at my throne.
Outro
Here’s to the man who survived your games,
Walked through hellfire, walked through flames.
I ain’t broken, nah, I’m reclaimin’ my name…
This is my comeback story
Signed, sealed… and FRAMED.
